Hitch Hiker...

My middle son, tall one in the middle with Dallas sign, goes on hitch hiking races...
Now, that's all I've got to say about that...

  1. Hitch Hiker races...hmmm.
I thought that is illegal, is this some sort of contest (ehem... race?) for charity? or something...do tell. what is this about girl?

  2. I want to hear more about that too. Sounds like something my son would have done when he was a little younger.

  5. We're just going to have to stop him from doing that anymore. Do you see that person in the back, Lezlee, going headfirst into the water? No no no -- let's get him home and make him stay there. Perhaps if we all join together somehow --- just tell me what we need to do, girl!

  6. Howdy Neighbor! I live in Rusk! LOL

My youngest son is a self-proclaimed 21st century Bohemian gypsy! He travels across the country . . . now in Oregon for a while.

Glad to meet you. . . . I'm signing on as one of your followers!

  7. Oh to be young again and not be consumed by the paranoia that hits so hard in middle age. I was so adventurous when I was younger and now worry every
time my son leaves the house.

  9. Well, I have no idea what the "hitch hiker" part is all about but, these are some fun photos! And they look like they are having blast!

  10. I hear what you are (aren't) saying. If I can remember back far enough (way, way, back) from his perspective it looks like a blast.

  12. To Shannon, who said she should slap him. It just might work. I'm Prior's daughter and when I suggested I take a semester of college I got a little slap, went and registered the next day!

  14. Brings back high school memories. Oh...and just a few years ago we were in Cook Islands (Raratonga) for one day...no car. Got my husband (over 60 years old) out there with his thumb out...hitching a ride to the golf course! Ha!
Hopefully your son will be wise and stay safe. Prayers with him!
