Just gonna post some past centerpieces...for Donna's Party!
outside at a family Easter...
A springy sewing day...lunch
wild flowers...I use them all the time, can't beat 'em...
Thanksgiving
flowers from our tree for my "tree house"
a baby shower...
a country wedding...
a librarian's retirement...
A wedding shower...brown snuff bottles...
a retro baby shower...
A January icy blue wedding....love the rock salt!
my bathroom centerpiece, lol
another wedding...the base are cardboard tubes, cement forms...the same used for the Thanksgiving centerpieces...and I just used them this week with brown lace paper on them...
I have a bunch more...but I've probably lost most of you by now...but the main idea is I decorate for lots of parties and I use what I have...a little differently each time...and I think adding a little vintage touch makes it substantial in some way... classy.
I did a really fun retirement party the other day and went to a great wedding, but didn't have my camera for either...I am slipping~

Lezlee-
ReplyDeleteYou definitely have the gift of Hostessing! I love your table centerpieces.
The ones for the parties are so uniquely cool and vintage.
* I've copied your diaper full of toys for the baby shower...ssshhh!*
The others are pretty. I like the shutter with the twigs the best,
I'll take a cue from your RED SEAT IN THE BATHROOM!!!! no kidding I have a red seat in my bathroom too! ALMOST IDENTICAL *minus the center piece*
OH! and are those Azaleas in the TREE HOUSE? very pretty!!!
Love all your table top pretties. I just wish you would post more oftener!
ReplyDeleteI miss you when you aren't here.
LOL
Hugs- Tete
Lezlee,
ReplyDeleteSo glad I kept looking at Donna's SNL! I love all your displays. So creative and just darn cute!
It has been a sad time at my house. Darrell my husband passed away on Dec. 23, 2010. I am in Australia with daughter, husband and wonderful grandson. I have been here for 4 weeks. I will leave in another week. Hope to start posting again.
smiles, tears, love,
alice
Such pretty centerpieces! I especially like those that use the old mason jars. I remember the centerpiece on the table in your "tree house". That is when I first discovered your blog and I was hooked. Hope things are going well for your moma.
ReplyDeleteSo many fun ideas Lezlee! I saw the theme for SNS and thought "right now my centerpiece is a painting drop cloth" ;) Good idea to post all your past centerpieces. Fun to see them all at once...great for inspiration! Chat soon, Laurel
ReplyDeleteI say wowso! Lot's of great inspiration here!
ReplyDeleteYou have the creative touch for sure.

Lovely centerpieces, Lezlee! I love the way you use all the flowers with the vintage...my favorites are the one in your tree house, and the outdoor arrangement with the wisteria...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI swear, you have the most beautiful arrangements anywhere and everywhere! Love how you can coordinate colors - those flowers on the red stool made me go, aaaahhhh! Everything you do would take me at least a month - you make it look so easy!
ReplyDeleteI get some of the comments in my email, too, but never yours. I don't get many that way at all, though.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about how to do that.
They're wonderful Lezlee! And each one is more dazzling and creative than the last. Hard to pick a favorite, but I think I fell in the love the most with the outside tablescape with the window frame and watering can!
ReplyDeleteThey are all very nice. I think my favorite is the easter egg piece. You do nice work.
ReplyDeletei'll have a party at the single-wide if you'll come decorate!!!
ReplyDelete;-D every single one of those is gorgeous!!!

Beautiful. I love what flowers - even the simplest ones - can do for a table or room or your spirits. I adore wildflowers the most!
ReplyDeleteI need those black chairs with the red cushions in your "tree house". They would go great with outside "love seat"!!!
ReplyDeleteHello I really like your centerpieces, I have a question on the centerpiece that you made for a wedding, it has a black, and white cardboard cements with candle in the center of the centerpieces. My question is how did you make the pink letters on that centerpieces? Thanks for your help.
