Crown

So, my friend from JMS told me that this is a piano caster. Now that she says that, I totally see it! This post is about this here little crown. It came about when I picked up a a squished up metal basket at Goodwill. Again another person embarrassed to sell me something says, "Oh, I can't charge you 79 cents for that! I'll let you have it for 49 cents." Funny, huh? I knew instantly it would become a crown, two in fact, one from the lid and one from the bottom. The bottom one is packed away at the moment.

I love the metal flower, don't you?

I've just been placing it all around, trying to decide where it will stay for awhile

I do like it around the candle, do you?

Do you care?

Tee HEE!

Now, this book I love too. It is all about the health of crops.
Illustrations show sick and healthy versions of each crop.

A fifty cent bargain!

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! It means so much!

I like the botanical book! Very nice find. And the piano caster...I can see that's what it is. At first it looked like a glob of rusted metal. I'm real dumpster savvy, aren't I?

I like the crown around the candle, too!

And of course WE all CARE! Otherwise why would we all be losing sleep over this stuff! LOL! I think somebody cares!!!

Hi Prior-
Thanks for stopping by my blog. You are the third person who told me that they had an "expensive cat" All funny stories, but costly. We love them, but it sure is a shocker when they break, eat, or are just too darn curious for their own good.

What a great use for the piano castor!!! I love it!

I so empathize with you over your broken cloche. I had a small one in the shape of a pear that was so unique and pretty. My kitty decided to jump up on the table and try to play with the bird that was inside it and promptly had it smashed into a million little pieces!!

Thanks so much for coming by!!

(I think I saw your cloche a few posts down with a cute baby display-

What a fun find! I think your crown looks really cute on he candle but, I also like it just kind of hanging of an object.

Thanks for visiting me today! I wanted to come say hello. I love how you saw a crown in "junk". I'm learning so much from other bloggers! It does look nice around the candle, but I really see the crown with it just hanging on things.
