Come join! We are partying until the end of the month!
Hitch Hiker, middle child, called awhile ago...
He is starting a new job, tomorrow. That is always good news...jobs.
He will be Colin Hanks stand~in, through November, for "The Good Guys" project filmed in the Dallas area.
Hmmm... I go Google for more info. He is Tom Hank's son and after seeing his picture I recognize him from some stuff. He is about 6 foot 1. HH, middle child, is about 6 foot 3.
Here is Tom's child, Colin Hanks
I see the resemblance to his dad, Tom, here...
And here is my HH, middle child...
I see the resemblance to
Frosty, the snowman, here...
Hoping he keeps his night job!
Lezlee
Hiliarious!! That is so neat, I do see the resemblance!!!
ReplyDeleteLezlee, what an enjoyable article. You've got quite an entertainer there -- what a joy.
ReplyDeleteHe reminds me a little of a "kid" I use to work with. Joe was about 22 years old and wanted to be an actor. He moved to Hollywood on his own. Found an apartment and got jobs mowing lawns for stars. The T-shirt he wore said "ACTOR" in big bold letters on the back.
Joe has been in several sitcoms -- remember "Zena - the Warrior Princess"? Before Joe left he took his box of business cards and wrote a little saying on the back of each one. He said he wanted me to have those because someday they would make me a very wealthy person.
Joe, if you're out there, I'm still waiting!!!
I think your son needs to write me out some business cards. I think he's gonna make it!
How exciting for you. I've set my Tivo to record the show.
ReplyDeleteNeat! I think your son's nose is a little larger than Colin's, but wow, what a resemblance : ) What fun he will have!
ReplyDeleteThat is great! And funny! I saw the notice go out for their stand-ins. They put out the ones for the ladies yesterday, but, alas, I don't match either of them.
ReplyDeleteThat show is absolutely hysterical. I hope he has a fabulous time.
Well, if it doesn't work out with Colin, I heard Dorothy was looking for a new scarecrow!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun this will be for him...and you!
Debbie

WOW!! I am impressed with HH!! What an experience he will have!
ReplyDeleteJared, Bill and I spent about 2 weeks as extras in a Julia Roberts movie...great pay!! So if HH makes it, he can quit that night job! Lezlee you have such great kids!!!
I'm in linking mode:-) Vicki
Wow, this is so, so neat. Yes, even as a snowman there is a resemblance. This is exciting.
ReplyDeletecute and Happy Birthday!!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to do the prior lives party but just have been behind on doing anything lately!! hopefully next one.
I think that your middle child is much better looking than Tom Hank's child...except for the nose and the string he has growing across his face! ;)

How fun for middle HH.He's darling, better looking than Colin.Maybe they will just keep HH.It's always who you know if your parents were actors it always seems the children are to follow even if they can't really act.Not saying Colin can't just have seen others.~Enjoy Kim
