Green Exterior Paint Color

The paint job is almost done...
sage, cream, with red...

touch ups & clean up, but couldn't wait to post, plus Jared wanted to see...

               during...
this siding is circa 1903, so it needed just a bit of washing, scraping and priming...

After...

Next is the driveway and pavers, picking them out tomorrow!!!  So many decisions to make...

and here is some more photos, in different stages of being done, in no particular order.
It is May and too pretty to be sitting at the computer!
                                                                       Plus,a grand baby is over!

We hope to put a little Victorian porch on where the covered El Camino is...
Nothing too ginger bready, just some white turned post, with a touch of ginger...
the original porch was on the opposite side ~
where my master bath and closet are now.

3  triangles have the fish scales....two can be seen here
..the original windows are 83 inches...

back porch, which we may screen in someday...

I love the red  and white French doors ~ we still need to scrape the windows clean...
My "TreeHouse" door is Red, also...
all the exterior doors...
I love this deep red.

Even tiny house got some paint and lipstick!!!
    I still want to
"doll"
this little house up with some Junk!

~More later when it is all done up~

I am so tickled green pink
about this home improvement,
Pay me no mind if you see me...
sitting out in the street,
just gazing at my home!
I adore how it changes...
 with the sun and shade.

I love the colors your picked out! It looks so good. I would have been afraid to do red myself, not that daring, but it looks so good. Love sage green anyway. Got that in my living room. Our outside is tan and the shutters are going white this summer to match the white trim. I teased the guys with lavender, but they said it wouldn't look too bad. Imagine that?
We have one more week to wait and then the hammer guys will be working here on the new deck. I can't wait.

I just found you through 504 Main's Tickled Pink party. I just love your house. How beautiful. Such character, and you chose such a great color. Can't wait to see it as you junk up that little house. Oh to have a tiny house! Sounds like fun to me. I'd love for you to stop and see me at Quirky Vistas!

Lezlee!
I love the green! Just a shade darker and it would be just like my house before I moved to Kemp-- I have dreams of painting my current house about the same color.
If we ever get around to re-siding it.
Couple of weeks ago- we had some high winds and then a few days later some hail. So it looks like we're getting a new roof.
I've been out of touch (no internet) for about 3 1/2 weeks...seems like an eternity. But I've gotten some stuff done since I've not been blogging.
Will you be at the Art Festival on Saturday (May 19th)????
I mean like having a booth and all?
or just browsing,even?

like the house, see ya!

I love your color choices, it looks perfect on the house. What a beautiful old home you have! We painted our house last summer and picking colors consumed me for over 2 months. Such a big decision, and so many choices out there. I sure know what you mean by wanting to just stand and stare at it...once ours was done I would go for a drive just so I could drive back home and see the house again!

This Victorian house indeed looks old, but after applying fresh coat of paint, it returned to its glory! Sage, cream, and red was a good combination. It has retained the vintage yet sophisticated appeal of the house.
