A snowflake:
rusty wire, vintage buttons, and crystals...

Wednesday 24th of March Winner Announced!
Here are some examples of a prior life:
an old bottle, Goodwill frame, and some used ribbon, vintage buttons, bead board and a key.
Now it is a decoration.
This used to be a rake and sometimes I use it to hang garden tools on, but now, after some poly, I am using it for glasses. Makes me wonder who all used this ole' rusty rake!an old bottle, Goodwill frame, and some used ribbon, vintage buttons, bead board and a key.
Now it is a decoration.
I am trying my hand at a
Prior Lives Party.
First, a few explanations 'cause many of you are saying,
"DO WHAT? "
I hope this will be a fun topic to get you thinking about the things you have around your place and the prior lives they have to tell and, or different ways you have transformed a piece from its original use...if I get some interest I might try it on a monthly bases...so here goes!1. Link up any post (old or new) to show off your treasures! It can be anything that you want to show off that you have changed or transformed into something else or is just old and has a story to tell, because of its Prior life!
2. Add a link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog.
3. Link to this party from your post so everyone can get in on the fun. Go check out everyones and leave a comment so they'll know you care~ You can just grab my button if it works!
Now for the give away, some more explaining to do...
- Leave a comment~one chance
- Already a follower or become one~ one chance
- Blog about party and leave a link~ one chance

Love the rake idea, seen the rake idea before but never with glasses! Thanks for visiting my blog too!
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, did you realize we are practically neighbors? I love the rake...I've on the prowl now ;p! The chalkboard/headboard conversion was originally purchased at Curious Goods...isn't that a wild coincidence! Have a great one!

What a great party! Such a creative theme! I hope to join in ! Thanks for hosting!
I love the idea of your party.
I linked up an old post.
And I edited it to tell about your party too!
I think it is a good idea to only do it once a month...there are so many parties to go to...what's a girl to wear, with so many parties?
Good luck... I hope your party grows!
Prior-
apparently I don't know how to re-post a previous blog post...
so, I was sending a message to let you know that I posted a piece about the party... so people will see it in their feeder...
keep on partying!
I found you through Pat over at Formerly Corn in my Coffee Pot and I am really liking your ideas, especially the rake! What a cool idea. I'm also adding you to my side bar under "Places I Visit Often". Glad to have found you! (Thanks Pat!)
Lezlee,
I love this clever idea of using the rack as a glass holder! This is one I’m going to save for my idea file for future reference. Thank you for sharing it!
Cathy
I wish I had the imagination that you have when it comes to using old things for new purposes. What a great idea for that old rake! If you continue this event monthly, I'll try to come up with something I've used in a different way. Fun idea! laurie
Okay I can see I will have to follow your site as well, love your muse of inspirations and those tiny Texas homes, WAY TO CUTE...Hmmm! what one do I want?
Stay close to him,
Blessings

It's so nice to meet you. Thank you for hosting this party. If it's a regular thing, please let me know so that I can add it to my link page and so that I can be sure to participate.
At first I thought we were suppose to tell stories about being reincarnated, really -- prior lives... The funny thing is is I came over to see that too!
Lezlee,
I will add your button to my sidebar to help spread the word out about this fun new event! It totally slipped my mind earlier today when I linked up.
Cathy
Ha Ha that is funny, I knew my screen name would be confusing But I like it, some people think it is my last name and I told someone it sounded like reincarnation! and I would like to have the party once a month if there is enough interest! Thanks for coming, If curiosity killed the cat satisfaction brought him back! Lezlee
I've blogged about your party today -- sorry that I didn't catch that yesterday. Sometimes I'm a skimmer and miss things, but I hope this can be a weekly event. We really do need more parties like this in blogland.
I've posted about your new party, Prior. You will find it here:

Hi Lezlee,
What a great idea for a party...I'm so sad I heard about it too late. I hope you do it again soon. Please let me know if you decide to do it on a monthly basis. I would love to join in the fun next time. Ooooo, can't wait to see what others shared. By the way, love all your Priors. Have a wonderful day.

My goodness - The rake and glasses is genius - I am in awe...gorgeous!!! Great job!!! I have to get some projects together to join your fun - Hope you decide to have another party!
I'm a little late to link up...but since you still had it open....great and fun idea for a blog party. I've used rakes for displaying rolling pins from my collection. Took them down to paint two years ago and they are still in the cupboard!
