I don't know if word verification helps stop spam, but personally I think it is a pain...anyway here's a button, if you are interested!

and an outdoor display from the Tipsy Tango in Quinlan, Texas...another part of our fun Saturday...
My moma wrote about our day in her weekly newspaper column...

Don't mind me....that's just me standing over here clapping. Word verification drives me insane. if you get a comment you don't like, it's your blog...DELETE it! TaDa..simple

I don't do the verification either! I don't think it helps at all and I can delete it if it is spam.
Love the photo- you got around to some cool places!

OH cool a button for that!
I hoped over and grabbed one of those--- don't like the word verification!

As for the little shop in Quinlin...
I got to ask about the table all that is sitting on top of, is it wood or metal? The legs are so shapely and they look rusted.
And check out that bling! (huge chain) So much to see... y'all were busy!
I was wondering why Quinlin...but then I realized which way y'all traveled.
If we were to go to Royce City...Hmmm... we usually go through Terrel from here.
Depends on who is driving and who else we'er going to see...LOL

I hate word confirmation and don't plan to ever have it on mine. I figure if it's a comment I don't like, I just hit the delete button.

That picture is full of stuff I'd have wanted to buy. Thanks for sharing.

I'm off to read your Moma's article. Have a great day.

I found that word verification was effective in controlling my SPAM, but annoyed and deterred too many people, so I removed it. Immediately, my SPAM was out of control. I didn't want to return to word verification, so I took a friend's suggestion that I simply not accept "anonymous" comments. I turned that function off, and it's worked like a dream. My comments are up, and my pageviews have continued to grow. I don't get any SPAM at all now. I wish more bloggers would consider this option and remove word verification.

I know the word verification is a pain, but it's definately saved me from the spammers. As soon as I take it off they leave me 101 chinese code messages saying "click here", which I think is a virus, so I'll keep it on my blog to prevent this. Your coke bench is a great find and God does bless us with wonderful gifts doesn't he! I so hope you come to Round Top, would really love to meet you. I'll be right in front of Zapp Hall and around from where Ms. Trash will be. Have a great week, T

lol! love your button.
I put moderation on comments for posts older than 30 days, but no word verification. I've never had any spam, so it must be working.
Can't tell you how many times i have commented on a blog and lost the comment because I quit out thinking I was done and then I see the word verification pop up too late to stop. Grrrr I don't bother to go back and comment again.
